The Fund

For more than 14 years The Leanne Fund has provided a range of unique support services to individuals affected by CF and their families across the Highlands and Western Isles.

A successful bid to Big Lottery in 2016 saw the organisation become an employer and expansion of service offering to CF patients in Grampian region. A development in 2019 saw the Fund offer support to CF patients across NHS Tayside with our latest development project incorporating an additional 192 paediatric CF patients in Greater Glasgow & Clyde, Ayrshire & Arran and Lanarkshire.

Our ultimate goal is to reach everyone in Scotland living with Cystic Fibrosis and be the support they need whenever it is needed.

Our Volunteers

Meet some of the amazing people at the heart of our organisation who freely give their time on a regular basis, bringing a huge wave of support to all our events and fundraisers. Armed with new ideas and bucket loads of enthusiasm,  they are our representatives in local communities.

Our volunteers are essential to everything we do!

The Leanne Fund

"I enjoy being a volunteer for The Leanne Fund. It gives me a lot of satisfaction to know that the contribution I make can in some way help young people that suffer from Cystic Fibrosis and their families.

I have been volunteering for a few years now and in that time have met many other volunteers with the same interests. Good friendships have been formed and continue to grow each time we meet.

To me volunteering is a two-way street. By giving your time and talent to help others you in fact gain more i.e. sense of purpose, new friendships, happiness, and a sense of community."

The Leanne Fund

"Giving time to a charity like The Leanne Fund is a investment that guarantees someone else's life will be made better because they are focussed and dedicated to their vision."

The Leanne Fund

"The Robertson family decided to become fundraisers for The Leanne Fund back in 2017 when our son received support from the charity.

After the sad loss of him in 2018 I received support through their Counselling fund, and it was then that the whole family was 100% behind me to carry on and raise awareness of CF and The Leanne Fund.

We have taken part in 3 Kiltwalks, held raffle draws and continue to hold prize bingo nights most months and all proceeds go to The Leanne Fund.

My daughter's & grandchildren are superstars in supporting me with all I do, but most of all I thank my husband as he puts up with all the bingo prizes I purchase.

The Robertson family will continue to raise awareness and funds so this fantastic charity can continue their work."

The Leanne Fund

"I think supporting anything local is important and doubly so when it is a charity. The Leanne Fund team is warm and friendly, making volunteering a special experience."
